Everest Poker adds $100k guaranteed tournament
By Sarah Polson
Just when you think you've reached the summit at Everest Poker, they go and add another tournament for players to climb their way to the top of. The poker site announced that they are adding a $100,000 guaranteed tournament to take place Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. (GMT).
There are a few different ways for players to get in on the tournament, which will have at least a $100,000 prize pool regardless of how many people sign up.
The first way is to pay the direct buy-in of $100+$9 to get in. Players can also give up one Everest Poker Gold Token plus $9 to enter.
"Four our devoted players, we wanted to offer them a really nice reward, and they're getting the chance to buy into this tournament with their Summit Points," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager.
For interested players, the tournament could cost as little as 25,000 plus 2,250 Summit Points.
"The response to earlier guaranteed tournaments has been fantastic, and we're giving all of our players a chance to enter this one," May said.
