ESPN to film 2005 WSOP TOC at Caesars Palace next week

ESPN will film the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Tournament of Champions (TOC) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from November 6-8.

The invitation-only freeroll event will boast a $2 million prize pool and a select playing field of 120 players, including some of poker's most famous pros, the 9 final table finishers from the 2005 WSOP Main Event, and over 100 top players who qualified through WSOP Circuit events during the 2004-2005 season.

Pro players eligible to participate include T.J. Cloutier, Mimi Tran. The 9 WSOP Main Event final table players are first place champion Joseph Hachem, Steve Dannenman, Derek Barch, Aaron Kanter, Andrew Black, Scott Lazar, Daniel Bergsdorf, Brad Kondracki, and Mike Matusow.

The TOC's first place finisher will receive $1 million, with second place receiving $325,000; third place receiving $250,000; fourth place receiving $150,000; fifth place receiving $100,000; sixth place receiving $75,000; seventh place receiving $50,000; and eighth and ninth place receiving $25,000.
