EPT Monte Carlo qualifier Saturday at Pacific Poker

By Sarah Polson

What better way could there be to start off your spring than with a trip to Monte Carlo and the potential to win millions? Pacific Poker can help make that happen with a chance to win a trip to the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo Grand Final at the end of the month.

The qualifier for the Monte Carlo Grand Final is taking place Saturday at the poker site at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Poker time.

Satellites have been running for the past two weeks giving poker players a chance to win their way into the qualifier for as little as 50¢.

If you haven't won your way into it yet, players can buy into the qualifying tournament for $99+$9.

The top prize will be a $15,000 prize package to play in the main event of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final. The package includes the buy-in for the main event seat as well as money for travel expenses.

The Monte Carlo Grand Final will take place March 28 through April 1 at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort.

Last year's winner, 19-year-old Jeff Williams, took home more than $1 million.
