Only 20 players will split the money at the $1 Million Tournament Titan, and French player Stephan Pallares has just become lucky number eight, with a third consecutive final table appearance at Titan Poker securing his spot in the big sit-and-go.
This is how it works: Make the final table three times in a row in any of the participating tournaments at Titan Poker and you get a seat in The Tournament Titan freeroll.
First 20 to do it set the field, and play for all the cash. The least you can walk away with is $25,000, and top spot takes $200,000, which includes $164,000 cash, a $12,000 prize package to the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event and seats in two World Poker Tour events.
Pallares, nicknamed "feffou," qualified by finishing at the final table in a $10,000 tournament and two $4,500 tournaments.
Others already qualified: Hou Kam, from Australia; Franck Thimonier, from France; Simon Leetsaar, from Sweden; Jordi Bonell, from Spain; a player nicknamed "backeast" from Canada; Sol Bergren, also from Canada; and Mark Hoath, from Australia.
