durrrr Challenge: A $2 Million Dwan Lead

Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius has his work cut out for him, now down over $2 million to Tom Dwan in the durrrr Challenge.

Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius were back at it again last night with their second post-WSOP durrrr challenge session in as many days.

This time the action lasted less than an hour and just 182 hands, but it was enough to push Dwan's lead up and over the $2 million mark with just a little over 10,000 hands remaining in the 50,000-hand challenge.

In total, Dwan took a whopping $459,961.50 from Antonius on Full Tilt overnight Tuesday, leaving the Finn down $2,059,719.50 overall with 39,436 hands now in the books.

The two played five pots weighing in at over $100k and Dwan won every single one.

Although both post-WSOP sessions have been short, with Jungleman12 waiting in the wings to take on Dwan next, it appears the two combatants are now intent on finally finishing the challenge, more than one year after it began.

But with 10,564 hands still to be played, Dwan and Antonius will need to put in a few lengthy sessions before they're through.
