durrrr challenge: 15 min and $46k

Patrik Antonius

As of 1:55 p.m. ET, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Patrik Antonius have started their second session of the durrrr Challenge.

Sitting at four $200/$400 PLO durrrr challenge tables (Tables 1-4), each player has bought in for $40k on all tables.

As is to be expected, the initial pots of this session have started out small, both players warming up slowly. After only 15 minutes of play, durrrr sat out on all tables.

At the completion of the quarter-hour, the two players held this conversation:

durrrr: cya in an hour or so

durrrr: prolly a little more

Tom Dwan have agreed to play their heads-up challenge once the HA game breaks.

Tom Dwan suggested the two of them play one $500/$1,000 PLO or one $500/$1,000 HA heads-up while they play in the four-handed game.

As a result, both durrrr and Patrik are playing heads-up on a the Ivey six-max HA table. In the 15 minutes of play heads-up on the six-max table, durrrr has won close to $90k from Antonius.

Because this is not a heads-up table, the hands and pots won on it do not count toward the durrrr Challenge.

*UPDATE 4:50 P.M. ET*

As of 4:50 p.m. ET the HA games have broken, and the durrrr Challenge is officially back under way. The first hands have been dealt on the durrrr Challenge tables 4-8. With the vast difference in time zones, this session is set to last not much longer than one hour.

*UPDATE 6:45 P.M. ET*

The durrrr Challenge is still going strong approximately 2,150 hands in, with durrrr up around $127,000. Considering they have three tables with effective stacks over $80,000, that could all change in a matter of seconds.

The action is live right now on Full Tilt. If you'd rather wait for a summary, check back here tomorrow morning for a complete cap-up of the action, including stats and replays of the largest pots in the session.
