DoylesRoom offers poker vacation
By Sarah Polson
If a month and a half of World Series of Poker action in Las Vegas wasn't enough to slake your thirst for poker, but the Vegas lifestyle made you need a vacation, DoylesRoom has the solution.
The poker site is giving away a tropical package to the Costa Rica Challenge taking place at the La Condesa Hotel in Monte de la Cruze, Costa Rica.
For as little as $4.80+50¢, poker players at DoylesRoom can work their way up through satellites to win a $4,000 grand prize package that includes the $2,300 buy-in for the Costa Rica Challenge main event plus $1,700 for travel and accommodations.
The money for travel and accommodations will be deposited into the winning players' poker account at DoylesRoom, and the poker site will take care of the buy-in for the Costa Rica Challenge main event locally.
The winner will also be outfitted with custom Team Brunson gear for the tournament. The Costa Rica Challenge main event will take place Sept. 11-13.
Satellites are currently under way, with the $4.80+50¢ satellites running on Mondays and Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET. For every 10 players who enter, one seat in the $48 super-satellite on Saturdays will be handed out.
The Saturday super-satellites begin at 4:30 p.m. and award one seat to the Sunday Satellite final on Aug. 31 for every 10 players entered.
The Sunday Satellite Final has a $400+$40 buy-in and will award one Costa Rica prize package for every 10 players in the event.
The second option to get into the Sunday Satellite Final is to try the $22+$2 satellites taking place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. at DoylesRoom. One seat to the Sunday Satellite Final will be handed out for every 20 players.
