Down to nine at Horseshoe Council Bluffs
By Erik Sylven
The final table of the Horseshoe Council Bluffs main event is set. Nine relatively unknown players will compete for the $219,576 first prize in the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) tournament.
These are the nine players that are left in the tournament:
Everett Carlton
Kosta Sengos
Sam Von Duhn
John Kincaid
Paul Kraus
Thadd Wolff
Doug Carli
Larry Vance
Jeff Banghart
Jeff Bryan was eliminated in 10th place on a bad beat. When the flop showed 9d-3s-4d, Bryan checked, and his opponent Sam Von Duhn moved all-in.
Bryan quickly called, and was way ahead with pocket kings against Ac-Kd. The turn, however, was an ace, and he was eliminated on the bubble.
The final table of the Horseshoe Council Bluffs main event starts at 2 p.m. (CST).
