Dick Van Patten raises money for charity with Texas Hold'em tournament

Dick Van Patten is hosting the Van Patten's No-Limit Texas Hold'em Celebrity Poker Tournament Nov. 10-12 during which players will compete for an estimated $75,000 prize pool while raising money for the children of Marines at the U.S. Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms, Calif.
The tournament will take place at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and has a $300 buy-in. This is the second year Van Patten has hosted the event to raise money for a holiday party for the children at the Marine Corps base.
Singer Connie Stevens will attend the event along with Van Patten's son Vince Van Patten, who stars in the upcoming movie "Deal" and is a World Poker Tour co-host and regular at HollywoodPoker.com. Accompanying Vince will be his wife and Emmy nominated "The Young and the Restless" star Eileen Davidson.
The tournament begins Nov. 10 with a celebrity cocktail registration party from 7 to 10 p.m. Play will begin Nov. 11 with several session through the day and the semi-finals will take place Nov. 12.
The event will conclude with a winners' circle presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 during which a check will be presented to the U.S. Marine Corps.
