Devilfish to make movie debut

British poker player Dave "The Devilfish" Ulliott is set to star in a new film about the spread of Texas Hold'em in the United Kingdom, it has been revealed.

The Devilfish will appear as himself opposite the main character, "Johnny," who was born with the ultimate poker face. When Johnny realizes his expressionless demeanor can earn him tons of cash at the Hold'em table, he begins to compete and soon lands himself opposite the best player in the UK, The Devilfish.

"Poker Face," will be shot on location this week in the high-rolling Sportsman Casino in London as part of the Digital Shorts Scheme, a project funded by the UK Film Council and Screen East. Director and writer John Hales has admitted to being extremely excited about filming his 10-minute short with one of the top stars in European poker.

"We're really excited, we've got the best poker player in the country, the best production team and the coolest script - and we're not bluffing."
