Devilfish and Poker Brat face off

David Ulliott has his sights set on WSOPE gold.
On the eve of the inaugural WSOPE, Phil "Poker Brat" Hellmuth and England's own David "Devilfish" Ulliott are on a collision course.
The European series, presented by Betfair, will finally officially launch at 11 a.m. today, at the Odeon West End Cinema in Leicester Square.
This marks the first time WSOP bracelets have been up for grabs outside of Las Vegas and it will likely be one of the most prestigious tournaments ever held in Europe.
Already committed to playing in the series are Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Allen Cunningham, Eric Seidel, Gus Hanson, Jennifer Harman and Jamie Gold.
The aforementioned Hellmuth and Ulliott will hold a Q&A during the press conference and there likely be some sparks flying between the international rivals. Perhaps USA vs. England will continue to be a rivalry throughout the series.
After the press conference the very first event of the series will kick off. The £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. will run from Sept. 6-8. Next up will be the £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the Empire, which will run for two days.
On Sept. 10 the WSOPE main event, a six-day £10,000 tournament, will begin. On Sept. 16 the very first winner of the European series will be decided.
