In a tournament that has seen many of poker's top pros running good, the latest coup at the Mirage Poker Showdown went to David "The Dragon" Pham, who won the $5,000 heads-up championship Thursday.

Pham took down Eric Froehlich for the title, earning $135,000 and a seat at the $10,000 World Poker Tour Championship starting today at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

"E-Fro" Froehlich won the first match but took a beating from Pham in the next two sessions, which sent him home with a second-place finish and $75,000.

The event started on Tuesday and attracted some big poker names, with J.C. Tran, Nam Le, Kenna James, Erick Lindgren, Barry Greenstein, and Layne Flack among the 85-player field.

The final four match-ups saw Pham up against Jon Little and Aaron Been facing Froehlich.

The main event of the Mirage Poker Showdown starts today, and PokerListings.com is on the scene.
