Daily 3-Bet: WSOP Re-entries, Timex Ejected, Anna Khait Survives
The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a trusty piece of tinder that never fails to ignite the mid-afternoon poker news fire.

In today’s Daily 3-Bet we’ll take a look at a leaked WSOP structure sheet, Mike McDonald getting kicked from EPT Dublin and Anna Khait’s strong debut performance on Survivor.
1) WSOP Goes Re-Entry for 1st Event?
We’re still awaiting the official 2016 WSOP schedule but the structure sheet for the Casino Employees event leaked briefly last night.
It appears the event will be a re-entry this year, which is a first for the long-running tournament.
The Casino Employees event is only one tournament but it’s already led to a considerable amount of speculation on whether more tournaments will feature a re-entry format.
There have also been some rumors that the re-buy tournament might be resurrected this year.
Re-buys were eliminated in 2009 as organizers claimed it gave players with deep pockets an unfair advantage.
The Casino Employees structure sheet has since been removed from WSOP.com so it appears we’re going to have to wait a little longer to see what to expect from the schedule.
2) McDonald Gets the Boot from EPT Dublin
Jason Mercier won the EPT Dublin 2k NLHE Hyper Turbo for €37,890 last night but the bigger news from the final table may have been Mike “Timex” McDonald getting escorted off the tournament floor just for spectating.
McDonald explained that he was watching a friend earlier in the day at the €2k PLO and fellow spectator Connor Drinan, who may have been a little inebriated, jokingly yelled at security that McDonald was too close to the final table.
Security moved McDonald back and the incident was seemingly over.
The problem came later when McDonald was railing Mercier's final table and security moved him back yet again.
Apparently there was no three-strike policy and EPT’s second winningest player of all time was removed from the tournament floor.
It’s all good though because Mercier made sure McDonald was part of the winner's photo by loading a picture of the Canadian on his phone.
3) Anna Khait Makes Strong Debut on Survivor
Poker player Anna Khait finally made her debut on CBS’ Survivor last night and it was pretty damn impressive.
In the premiere Khait established a firm alliance with the two other women on her Beauty team. She also performed very well in the tribal immunity challenge and helped her team win by completing a puzzle.
So far, so good.
Khait is actually in a prime position to go far if the Beauty team can pull off a few early wins.
We spoke with Khait shortly before the show began and she explained why she decided to hide her occupation as a poker player from the rest of the players.
