The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a bear market, an inside tip and an unlimited call to buy buy buy on the afternoon poker news IPO.

Today in the 3-Bet we find a behind-the-scenes look at Mark Newhouse's amazing road to WSOP redemption, Ryan Riess gives CNBC some stock tips and Finnish PLO god Jens Kyllönen breaks into the coaching game.

1) Newhouse's $10m Redemption

The Mark Newhouse story really is pretty spectacular. Making the final table of the WSOP Main Event back-to-back in this era is ... well, an incredible longshot. A miracle even.

Just how big of a longshot? 524,558-to-1 All In Magazine tells us in its awesome new Off the Felt mini-doc about Newhouse's return journey to the November Nine.

Tracing Newhouse's route from college dropout to WPT winner to degenerate gambler to destitute poker pro slowly trying to rebuild his roll and his confidence, it's a pretty stunning 10 mins.

Does it make you root for him to win it all or feel little sympathy for a guy who already had it and frittered it away? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Check out our own interview with Newhouse here.

2) Riess' Railroad? Union Pacific

So here's an odd clip we stumbled across a few minutes ago. Last year's WSOP Main Event champ Ryan Riess was wrangled into a bit on CNBC where he recommended a few stocks worth watching.

After explaining that after paying off backers, taxes and travelling the poker circuit for the past year his $8.4m score is now down to about $2m, Riess said he's heavy into Apple, Disney, Facebook and the Union Pacific Railroad.

He then briefly explained what effect Ebola was having on cruise ship stock. Something tells us he didn't quite get the segment he expected. Watch below:
