The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a dream of spring in the harshest winter of the mid-afternoon poker news world.

You can make suggestions for future 3-Bet pieces in the comments below.

In today’s 3-Bet we’ll take a look at Daniel Negreanu decrying excessive tanking, Jean-Robert Bellande going full JRB and Amanda Leatherman returning to poker with the HPT.

1) Daniel Negreanu: Tanking Shows No Respect for the Game

If there’s anything Daniel Negreanu hates it’s excessive tanking and he takes noted online player Jordan Cristos to task in a new blog on FCP.

Negreanu alleges that Cristos is considered by many to be the new king of tanking.

Recently Cristos went on Twitter to defend tanking as a viable strategy in modern tournaments.

The problem? According to Negreanu:

If everyone acted the way Jordan Cristos does in tournament poker, it would cease to exist. Not only would it destroy the structures where you get only 10-15 hands an hour, it makes the game boring for amateurs, which also eats into a pros profits. This is a choice. Jordan talks a lot about respecting the game and respecting the players, but his actions show absolutely no respect for other players time or what is best for the game or the community.

Negreanu ended his argument by saying that Cristos actually seems like a nice kid, it’s just the act of tanking he dislikes.

2) BrokeLivingJRB Empties Online Accounts

Say what you will about Jean-Robert Bellande but he certainly lives up to his nickname.

BrokeLivingJRB has been living the high life in Mexico after busting out of WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars with pocket aces.

The only problem is that he busted BOTH his PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker accounts, according to a Tweet.

Fortunately Bellande is always able to see the positive in a situation. He’s now got more time to spend in the pool and lounging on the beach.

It’s a tough life for JRB.

3) Amanda Leatherman Returns to Poker with HPT

Remember Amanda Leatherman?

The popular PokerNews/Poker Road/PokerStars Big Game hostess who worked more jobs in poker than almost anyone?

Leatherman's been out of poker for a few years now and has been successfully co-hosting a morning radio show in North Carolina at Star 104.3.

It appears, however, she’s getting back into poker as the HPT recently dropped this wrap-up video from its Indigo Sky Casino stop.

Now all we need is the Big Game to come back for a reunion show.
