The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a fashionable-yet-comfortable BreathRight strip that alleviates even the trickiest afternoon poker news sleep apnea.

Any suggestions for a future 3-Bet, feel free to drop a note in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Phil Hellmuth paying tribute to Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss, the ISPT showing signs of life thanks to its new deal with Dawn to Dusk and a pictorial tribute to the women of poker.

1) Hellmuth Remembers Poker Aficionado Dr. Jerry Buss

He touched on his feelings via Twitter shortly after Dr. Jerry Buss' passing last month but Phil Hellmuth was clearly moved enough he felt he should follow up on camera wth a few more thoughts.

The video released yesterday is both touching and a bit self-aggrandizing as only Hellmuth really can be. In it he recounts a few of his memorable experiences with Dr. Buss, from watching a game up in the rafters at the old Forum to finding him playing a $300 tourney at the Golden Nugget.

In the end his true admiration for Buss shines through, though, highlighted by quotes like "Jerry ... I never heard him say a negative word about anyone, ever." Check the clip below:

2) ISPT Showing Signs of Life, Payouts Announced

On rocky shores for much of its existence so far, the beleagured International Stadiums Poker Tour buoyed its sinking ship with a new deal last week with UK card room purveyors Dawn to Dusk.

Now not only has ace poker room manager Simon Trumper come on board to run the tourney, the money situation has been buffered with a new, much-more believable €1m guarantee for the winner and an official payout and blind structure announced.

According to the PR released by DTD yesterday, 50% of the players that make it to Wembley will now officially make the money with a min cash pulling in €540.

A full 85% of the prize money will be paid to the top 10%. DTD also confirmed they fully intend to have 200 tables set up on the pitch for Day 2 at Wembley with backup rooms already booked in case of bad weather.

It might not be close to the grand hopes of its flashy promo video and original €30 million "guarantee," but it's clearly a step in the right direction. Read the full release here.
