In today’s Daily 3-Bet we’ll take a look at the $25k WSOP fantasy draft getting streaming attention, Gus Hansen popping up in SCOOP and a WSOP pump-up video to get you jacked for the imminent series.

1) $25k WSOP Fantasy Draft To Be Streamed

Daniel Negreanu
The safe pick.

The 2015 World Series of Poker starts tomorrow!

Excited? Yeah we thought so.

The action actually gets a bit of a head start tonight with the traditional $25,000 WSOP Fantasy Draft taking place at 7 p.m. tonight at Aria.

Interestingly the rumor is that Jason Somerville is going to stream the entire event so you might want to check in and see who the big guns are picking this year.

Of course if you’re doing your own fantasy draft we have a couple, simple pieces of advice:

1. Make sure your picks are actually playing (Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan are not good choices).

2. You want multi-game masters since they have many more chances to win.

Check out Somerville's live stream here.

2) Gus Hansen Surprises Fan in SCOOP

Gus Hansen
Also known as Broksi.

When you’re playing online you never know who you might bump into.

For instance not everyone knows Gus Hansen plays as “broksi” on PokerStars.

Especially online player mariusas91 who was using a Hansen photo for his avatar in the SCOOP-M Main Event (Mustapha Kanit won the SCOOP-H for $1.3m, btw).

mariusas91 made the last three tables and unbeknownst to him, he was seated at the same table as Hansen.

As everyone else at the table realized they started poking fun at mariusas91 avatar choice.

Heaven1991: mariusas91, good that Gus will never know u use his face as your avatar.
Heaven1991: Who is this broksi guy? :)
mariusas91: Hi
Broksi: Nice pic.

Hansen went on to finish 14th in the tournament for $19,071 score. According to his profile he was playing from Macau.

3) WSOP Throughout the Years

The WSOP begins tomorrow with the casino employees event at 12 p.m. and then a $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament.

What better way to kick things off than an under appreciated WSOP intro from a couple years ago. This gem splices footage from the 45+ years of the WSOP into a 41-second clip.

It’s guaranteed to get the average poker fan pumped up and you can watch the entire video below:
