Software developer CryptoLogic Inc. has renewed its contract with European poker room and sportsbook William Hill.
The three-year deal follows similar financial guidelines to the companies' previous agreement, with incentives to increase gaming activity.
Together, the companies have also launched William Hill Poker in Spanish.
The partnership with William Hill is one of CryptoLogic's most important relationships, said company CEP Lewis Rose in a release.
"While much of the online gaming world has only recently started paying attention to the UK and continental Europe, we have been focusing our attention on these markets for the past five years," he said.
"Our relationship with William Hill exemplifies our strength in the region and the success of our strategy."
CryptoLogic will be the exclusive software provider to William Hill under the contract, and will offer the online casino and poker room lower rates for increases in gaming activities. The growth is expected based on development initiatives in the works between the two groups, the release said.
Both businesses will likely be implicated by new gaming regulations falling under the UK Gambling Act scheduled for Sept. 1, 2007. The new agreement, however, commits the firms to work together to improve business in the new environment.
"Based on our seven-year history with CryptoLogic and the exciting initiatives already underway, like Spanish Poker, I am confident that we will grow our business significantly," said Peter Nolan, William Hill's Group Director.
