PokerStars offers freerolls to win piece of WSOP final table
PokerStars is offering a chance to win a piece of the November 9.
The November 9, of course, is the World Series of Poker's final table comprising the nine remaining players that will duke it out on Nov. 9.
Stars has invested in six of the players, and will be hosting a $100,000 freeroll (500 FPP required for entry) for each player every Sunday beginning Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. ET.
In addition, if you make it to the top 100, you'll receive 0.01% of that player's eventual winnings from the final table.
Freeroll schedule (all begin 4 p.m. ET):
Oct. 5: David "Chino" Rheem
Oct. 12: Darus Suharto
Oct. 19: Ylon Schwartz
Oct. 26: Peter Eastgate
Nov. 2: Ivan Demidov
Nov. 9: Dennis Phillips
Let's see... every player is guaranteed to take away $900,670. So if you make the top 100 in any of the six tournaments, you'll receive an extra $90.07.
First place to this year's WSOP winner is $9,119,517, so if you're in the top 100 for that player's tourney, you'll get $919.52 extra.

WSOP Final Nine - Now We Wait… sigh
The world has 117 days to figure out who the heck these guys at the World Series of Poker’s final table are.
Earlier this year, WSOP commissioner Jeffrey Pollack made the call to postpone the ME’s final table for four months. He claimed that one of the benefits was that the public would get a chance to know the participants. It seemed like an acceptable idea at the time, but now that the WSOP is down to it’s final 9 players I just want to see who wins!
I’ll tell you who won’t be winning. Phil Hellmuth. The Poker Brat was eliminated on Sunday when his AQ ran into Jacks. Poor Phil. I can only imagine what the next 11 months of living with him would be like.
So, who will win? Somebody you’ve never heard of. Here’s the “Final Nine”…
Seat 1: Dennis Phillips — 26,295,000
Seat 7: Ivan Demidov — 24,400,000
Seat 4: Scott Montgomery — 19,690,000
Seat 9: Peter Eastgate — 18,375,000
Seat 3: Ylon Schwartz — 12,525,000
Seat 5: Darus Suharto — 12,520,000
Seat 6: David “Chino” Rheem — 10,230,000
Seat 2: Craig Marquis — 10,210,000
Seat 8: Kelly Kim — 2,620,000
Dean Hamrick, of East Lansing, finished on the final table bubble in 10th place when his AJ ran into Marquis’ pocket queens. Hamrick still won $591,869. Not too shabby!
