Are you ready to make your plans for the 2017 World Series of Poker?

If so the WSOP announced yesterday it has finalized the dates for the signature weekend events for the 2017 WSOP.

Dates for the $565 Colossus, $1,500 Millionaire Maker, $1,500 Monster Stack and the $888 Crazy Eights events are of particular note for amateur and recreational players as these are the low buy-in, big prize pool events that draw massive fields.

$1m is guaranteed for first place in both the Colossus and the Millionaire Maker.

Colossus Kicks Off June 2-4

The 2017 WSOP's opening weekend features the return of the world’s largest live poker event, the Colossus.

WSOP Bracelet and Money

Almost 44,000 players have bought in to the WSOP's lowest buy-in event over the past two years and more than $10m was in the prize pool last year.

Colossus III will again be a $565 buy-in re-entry No-Limit Hold’em tournament with two starting flights a day over three days – Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 at 10am and 4pm. One re-entry per flight is allowed.

The following weekend sees the return of the $1,500 Millionaire Maker - another massive event with a 10am starting flight on June 10 and another on June 11 at 10am.

The 2016 Milly Maker had over 7,190 entries and a $9.7 million prize pool with the top two players both earning over $1m.

Seniors, Monster Stack, Crazy Eights, Main

The following four weekends will see equally massive crowds and marquee tournaments, beginning with the Seniors and Super Seniors events on June 16 & 18.

The $1k Seniors Championship, open to those 50+, has one flight only at 10am Friday, June 16. A single re-entry is available during the open registration period.
