21-year-old Lithuanian Matas Cimbolas is the newest member of the WPT Champions Club after finishing off the field at the WPT UK in Nottingham earlier tonight.

Cimbolas, who was playing in his first World Poker Tour Main Event, secured £200,000 for his bankroill after defeating Ben "kidcardiff" Warrington heads-up for the title.

Coming into the final table as the runaway chip leader Cimbolas actually lost his advantage by the time he hit heads-up play with Warrington.

Getting down as far as a 6-1 disadvantage in chips the Lithuanian was unfazed and came all the way back to lock down his first major title.

Warrington, one of the top online players in the UK, collected £140,000.

Leonard, Saout Fall Early

Two of the more prominent members of the WPT UK final six were the first to fall.

The current #1 player online, Brit Patrick "pleno1" Leonard came in looking to make a big move but ran into a Warrington full house to drop out in sixth.

Frenchman Antoine Saout, familiar to most for his spot in the 2009 WSOP Main Event November Nine, battled for the chip lead for much of the tournament but finally succumbed in fourth to Warrington too.

Tamer Kamel and Phillip Mighall also saw their dreams of a WPT title fall short in third and fifth, respectively.
