ChiliPoker sponsors new Paris-Vegas flight
Poker players can now go from sipping wine in Paris to flopping sets at Bellagio in less than 13 hours time thanks to a new direct flight sponsored by ChiliPoker.
The XL Airways flight will fly out of Paris Charles de Gualle airport on Thursdays and Sundays every week. It begins service May 23, 2010, one week before the World Series of Poker starts.
As part of the innovative partnership, ChiliPoker will also be installing a VIP counter in Las Vegas for all its European customers.
The counter will offer a dedicated multilingual team in charge of helping tourists and poker players prepare their stays in Las Vegas, including restaurant reservations, hotel accommodations and transportation.
"Las Vegas is one of those destinations people dream of, but which appears inaccessible," said Alexandre Dreyfus, the French founder of ChiliPoker.com.
"As an online poker site we felt it appropriate to offer an answer to these dreams by offering all non-English speaking Europeans, and in particular the French, a chance to enjoy a unique experience."
The flight will be one of the few direct routes from Europe to Sin City. According to ChiliPoker representatives, Las Vegas will be key part of its marketing strategy for Europe in 2010.
To that end, ChiliPoker will refund €75 to all ChiliPoker account holders that reserve a ticket on the new flight between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31, 2009.
