Cheadle-Ivey match-up airs Sunday

NBC's taped coverage of last month's National Heads-Up Poker Championship continues this Sunday, with featured action this week from the unpredictable match-up between the renowned Don Cheadle and the feared Phil Ivey.

The 64-player, single-elimination Heads-Up Poker Championship went down at Caesars Palace early last month and the second installment of the coverage airs Sunday at 3 p.m. (EST), with more than its fair share of big names set to appear.

Among the matches to be highlighted this week: "Mr. Kotter" Gabe Kaplan vs. Todd Brunson, and the much-anticipated showdown between Golden Globe-nominated actor Don Cheadle and five-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Ivey.

Also to see some air time this week: the first-ever all-female match up in National Heads-Up Poker history, between Kristy Gazes and Clonie Gowen.

Quite a few surprises surfaced along the way to naming the 2007 Heads-Up Champion, and if the strong ratings for installment #1, which aired last week, are any indication, people are tuning in to see for themselves how it played out.

This Sunday's show, along with the episodes airing April 22 and April 29, will again be one hour.

Two-hour shows will air May 6 and May 13, and the May 20 final will expand to three hours.
