The International Save the Children Alliance comprises 27 national organizations working in over 100 countries. In the United States Save the Children is fighting poverty with literacy and nutrition. Since 1932 the organization has been active in some of the most impoverished communities in the U.S. Today Save the Children works in 12 states, providing quality literacy, physical activity and nutrition programming to thousands of children.
