Canadian student Chanracy Khun out-dueled cash-game pro Benjamin Pollak for the WPT Barcelona title tonight to take home $258,448 and a prestigious seat in the WPT Championship this May.

Khun, who had about $100k in live earnings prior, carried over his chip lead and his momentum from Day 3 to knock out each of his opponents at the final table.

The win is by far Khun's biggest, although he did narrowly miss a $1m seat in a Big One for One Drop satellite at the WSOP in Vegas last year.

Pollak, a veteran pro from France who won his buy-in from the cash games at Casino Barcelona before the event, couldn't overcome a big chip disadvantage heads-up and took home $162,822 for his runner-up finish.
