CEO Poker adds Flash for Taj Mahal event
By Sarah Polson
CEO Poker is adding a little flash - a Flash online marketing campaign that is - to help promote its upcoming poker tournament at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. The poker tournament will take place May 19-25.
"Using an eye-catching Flash evite, with background music, was a great way to convey to poker players our unique brand and event," said William Peraza, CEO Poker CEO.
"Poker players are not used to receiving unique Flash-driven advertisements for poker events, giving us a marketing edge."
The evite will be sent out to the more than 100,000 registered poker players and will be posted on the CEO Poker Web site. It will depict a variety of images of executives playing poker with details of the Taj Mahal event set to music.
Flash evites will be created throughout 2007 to promote the CEO Poker Tour events in Las Vegas later this year as well.
"We are a unique poker tournament company that caters to an executive audience that is used to out-of-the-box marketing promotions," Peraza said.
"This is a year for growth in the poker tournament industry with the troubles of the online poker world and the fastest way to grow is with unique marketing campaigns that portray the CEO Poker brand energy."
Registration is open for the Trump Taj Mahal event where executives will have the chance to battle at the poker tables while networking. Buy-ins for these Texas Hold'em events will range from $500 to $5,000.
Everyone who registers for at least one tournament at the Taj Mahal will also receive entry into a live freeroll for a chance to win a World Series of Poker Main Event seat.
