CEO Poker Championship to air on TV
By Lianne Elias
The CEO Poker Championship will be filmed for television broadcast. Mark Sennet Entertainment has signed on to executive produce "The CEO Poker Show," a reality series/documentary featuring footage from the inaugural competition where CEOs will battle for the Chairman of the Poker Room title. The CEO Poker Championship will be held at The Palms in Las Vegas from October 22-27, 2006.
"The CEO Poker Show" will be the first poker reality series/documentary made for television, and will allow viewers to watch footage from the competing CEOs' personal lives as well as scenes from their battles at the poker table.
"CEOs battling to be Chairman of Poker makes for entertaining television," says Mark Sennet. "This is more than a poker show. We want to show viewers another side of the power players that run America's most successful companies and international companies abroad."
"We look forward to working with Mark Sennet on the CEO Poker productions," says William Peraza Jr., creator and CEO of CEO Poker. "'The CEO Poker Show' will now have a production team that has a vision and passion for the sport of poker, while bringing a unique entertaining perspective to the filming of the participants."
