CelebPoker shows the way to Montreux

Online poker room CelebPoker has announced a series of satellite tournaments with seats in the Showdown Poker Tour (SDPT) Montreux main event up for grabs.

Part of the televised SDPT, the Montreux main event will take place at the Casino de Montreux in Switzerland Jan. 31 to Feb. 4.

CelebPoker will be running daily $5 satellites over the next five weeks, with the winners moving on to a $40 Sunday satellite which will ultimately give entry into the $380 online final on Jan. 7.

From there it's on to Switzerland, with a $9,000 prize package offered including the €5,550 entry fee to the No-Limit Texas Hold'em main event and $1,600 in accommodation and travel money.

CelebPoker has also announced they'll be hosting a $100,000 guarantee tournament each month, with buy-ins directly for $120 + $10 or through daily satellite events.
