CD Poker awarded its first WSOP Executive Jackpot prize recently to Gemini2006. The $20,000 prize package will send Gemini2006 to the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event in style.

From July 3 to July 17, Gemini2006 will call the Palazzo Suite of the Venetian Hotel his home base while he plays in the 2008 World Series of Poker championship event. Not only does the Executive Jackpot put him up in a suite and pay for his $10,000 WSOP buy-in, but he has other perks as well.

CD Poker will be paying for the online player's travel expenses for two people up to $5,450 plus supplying a limousine to transport him from and back to the Las Vegas airport.

While he's in town for the WSOP, Gemini2006 will also have two tickets to go see the Blue Man Group show at the Venetian July 7, and he has a July 10 reservation for dinner for two at the exclusive SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Hotel.

All Gemini2006 had to do to earn the $20,000 prize package was win four consecutive $20+$4 WSOP Executive Jackpot Sit-and-Go tournaments. These special sit-and-go tournaments started April 1 and are being hosted by CD Poker until June 19.

This won't be Gemini2006's first trip to the WSOP either. He was one of the players to qualify online for the 2007 WSOP European Main Event as well. On top of that he was a freeroll qualifier for the Austria Cup this year.

To attain success like his, Gemini2006 said, "Analyze the game, play to your limit, manage your bankroll and read books or forums to improve."

For players looking to duplicate Gemini2006's success, there are still plenty of ways to win a seat in the 2008 WSOP. Along with the Executive Jackpot Sit-and-Go tournaments, CD Poker is offering players super-satellites where they can win Main Event prize packages or side event prize packages.

The Main Event prize packages are valued at $14,000 and include the buy-in for the Main Event plus flights and accommodations. The side event prize packages are worth $6,500 and include the $1,500 buy-in for Events 27 and 32 plus money for flights and eight nights' accommodation.

CD Poker isn't the only place where WSOP seats can be found for little or nothing. Check out the special promotions PokerListings.com has with several poker sites to send players to the Main Event as well.
