bwin Poker begins Bulgarian invasion

Sofia, Bulgaria's capital, means "wisdom," and wise poker aficionados in the country will be flocking to bwin's tables.

North America may have been hit by the online poker boom several years ago, but there are plenty of other untapped markets around the world where the industry is still finding inroads. Bwin Poker recently took advantage of one of those markets with the launch of a Bulgarian poker site.

"We are delighted to have colored one of the last blank areas of the European Union in with bwin colors," said Kevin O'Neal, bwin Poker press officer.

"Bulgarian customers have already been able to enjoy our products, only so far everything was in a foreign language for them. Now that the full customization for Bulgaria is completed, we are looking forward to appealing to a broader audience in this promising market."

The Bulgarian site was launched Oct. 2 and not only includes localization with the Bulgarian language, it offers localized betting options, local payment partners and editorial content customized for the Bulgarian market.

The addition of Bulgarian brings bwin Poker up to 22 different languages players can choose from on their site.

This will also make it much easier for Bulgarian poker players to take advantage of the special deals PokerListings.com has with bwin Poker. With deposit bonuses and monthly freerolls, there's plenty of extra cash for players to pocket.

Players who sign up at bwin Poker through a PokerListings link are eligible for an exclusive, fixed $500 bonus. When signing up, players will need to use the "POKLIST" bonus code and then clear 4,000 points in $90 days for the payout.

New players who sign up through PokerListings are also eligible for the private $2,000 monthly freerolls. Players who earn 50 points within three months of depositing at bwin Poker will earn a spot in the monthly freeroll.

The next freeroll is scheduled for Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. for players who qualified between July 1 and Oct. 16.
