Bowmans Poker to host 'spooktacular' Halloween events

Trick or Treating starts early Tuesday at Bowmans Poker which will be hosting special Halloween events all day to celebrate the holiday and hand out lots of cash prizes.

The fun begins right away with a $100 Ghastly Hand Promo which will run all day. Players who win a hand of Texas Hold'em with a seven of spades and two of hearts will win $100.

To be eligible for the Ghastly Hand Promo, the hand must be played in a real money cash table with three or more players dealt into the hand. The hand must go to a showdown and be raked.

Scheduled events start at 7 a.m. (GMT) with the Return of the Living Breakfast Dead Special, quizzes with 10 themed questions related to ghouls, goblins, witches and more. Players receive $20 for each correct answer. The person with the first correct answer will be deemed the winner of that question and no player can win more than one prize in any one quiz.

The quizzes last until 9 a.m. and will include a Bloody Face Bonanza question. Whoever gets the bonus question right will win entry into the Poker "Scary" Face Freeroll later that day.

A $3,500 Ghosts 'n' Ghouls Bounty will kick off at 10 a.m. and another, the $5,000 Witches and Warlocks Bounty, will start at 2 p.m. During the tournaments, the players who knock "Tutiuillus" out of the Ghosts 'n' Ghouls tourney or "Satan" out of the Witches and Warlocks tourney will win a selection of Halloween DVDs and CDs, a $100 Amazon voucher, or $100 in cash.

Next up is a Poker "Scary" Face Speed Freeroll satellite at 4 p.m. The tournament has a 100 Action Point buy-in. Players who make the final table in this tournament win a seat in the Poker "Scary" Face Freeroll that starts at 8 p.m. The winner of that freeroll wins a $12,500 prize package to Pokerface 2007 where they have a chance to win a $200,000 pro package.

There are only 500 seats available in the $12,500 Poker "Scary" Face Freeroll, and all seats awarded are subject to availability. Other ways to get into the freeroll include playing the daily 1,000 Action Point multi-table feeders, or buying in directly with 50,000 action points.

The Halloween fun continues at 10 p.m. with the $2,000 Halloween "Added" Multi-Table Tournament. This tournament will be a $1 speed re-buy event with $2,000 added to the prize pool. The winner will also get a seat in the Pokerface 2007 Super Satellite Nov. 26, and the person finishing on the bubble will win a seat in the site's World Poker Tour qualifier Nov. 25.

Capping off the day just before midnight at 11:45 p.m. will be the $3,000 Trick or Treat Tourney. The winner will walk away with his share of a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool and free entry into the November $100,000 guaranteed multi-table tournament.
