Bowmans announces partnership with bet365

Two renowned bookmakers in the U.K. have joined forces, as online operator Bowmans International announces a new partnership with gaming firm bet365 and a relaunch of Bowmans.com as a new sportsbook, poker room, casino and games room.

Bowmans International, owner and operator of Bowmans Poker, pulled out of the U.S. market after the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act (UIGEA).

It subsequently closed its operations in Gibraltar and downsized its call center in Mauritius.

But the partnership announcement this week seems to indicate a positive future. The owners of bet365poker, bet365 Group Ltd. is one of the U.K.'s leading betting and gaming groups and presently carry almost one million customers.

The relaunch of Bowmans Poker includes heavy incentives for poker players, with up to a $500 bonus, over $3.5 million in tournament guarantees every month and new poker software being the strongest pulls.

All existing Bowmans Poker U.S. customers were transfered to Bodog.com Nov. 28, but all existing Bowmans International customers moving to bet365 will retain their passwords, four-digit security codes and user names.
