Bounty on PokerListings.com player in St. Maarten
The World Poker Showdown (WPS) is underway in St. Maarten, and PokerListings.com will be following this series of poker tournaments which boast buy-ins suitable for recreational players.
Though it's a small poker tournament, the people behind the WPS have managed to create some really good events. They have shown that professional poker tournaments can be arranged without huge buy-ins and enormous prize pools. Instead, the WPS takes poker back to its roots and reminds us all what it is supposed to be: a fun game.
Martin Ostman from PokerListings.com is playing his first event today, a $500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. To add some extra value to this event, PokerListings.com and the WPS have put a bounty on Ostman, and any player who is able to knock him out will earn $200.
