Bond villain linked to illegal poker game
By Sarah Polson
Mads Mikkelsen's bad luck seem to have followed him from the silver screen to real life. The latest James Bond villain is making headlines again because of an illegal poker tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mikkelsen plays Le Chiffre in "Casino Royale" for which he had to learn to play Texas Hold'em. He has since taken up the game as a hobby.
He recently made headlines for winning a real-life poker tournament with the same had that initially defeats Bond in the movie, and now he's been linked to an illegal tournament in Copenhagen.
The event was at Club Dakota and, according to local press, has received the attention of the authorities because it was held illegally.
