Bodog.com to award 700 seats to 2006 WSOP

Bodog.com will be sending 700 players to the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to be held from June 25 - August 10.

Having sent 70 players to compete at the WSOP in 2005, this year's number reflects a 1,000% increase. Players will be eligible to win seats to preliminary events and the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event itself.

A series of qualifying tournaments are currently running at the poker room, including multi-table semi-final tournaments, where each event will award at least one prize package, WSOP $1.10 sit and go stages events, and single-table tournaments.

Each prize package to the Main Event is worth $12,500, and includes the $10,000 Main Event buy-in and $2,500 for travel and accommodation expenses. Qualifying players will also be given access to the WSOP VIP Lounge and $1,000 worth of Bodog.com gear.
