Bodog.com today announced a new advertising deal that will see the insides and outsides of six large passenger jets branded with the colors and logo of the online gaming group. According to a press release issued by the poker room, the new advertising initiative has been launched to compliment Bodog.com’s current online, print, radio, and television marketing campaigns, and will span a three month period.
The six, 150-seat MD-80 Allegiant Air passenger jets are scheduled to fly non-stop between Las Vegas and 32 other destinations. The planes will be parked at Terminal D in Las Vegas' McCarran Airport, near the airport's busiest runway and in clear site of travelers waiting to board flights at passenger gates inside the terminal building.
"Our advertising partnership with Allegiant Air is a natural fit for us. Branding encompasses everything from good customer service to strategic advertising positioning and targeting," says Calvin Ayre, founder and CEO of Bodog.com. "This in-air branding exercise will allow us to target a specific player demographic, while continuing to expand the presence of our brand throughout the continental United States."
An in-flight announcement highlighting some of Bodog.com's products will be featured on each flight, and passengers will be able to peruse Bodog.com plane inserts that include detachable poker strategy cards. In addition, each of the passenger seat trays will be designed to look like a blackjack table.
