Bodog.com sponsors team of celebrities for WSOP

Bodog.com is sponsoring a team of poker playing celebrities to play in the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event which starts Friday.
"As popular as poker is now, even celebrity players dream of winning the World Series of Poker," said Calvin Ayre, founder and CEO of Bodog.com. "With over 400 WSOP Main Event seats, including celebs and pros, Team Bodog will be a force that's sure to dominate the tables."
The celebrity team includes several actors including comedian Brad Garrett from "Everybody Loves Raymond"; Mekhi Phifer from "ER" and "8 Mile"; Matthew Lillard who played Shaggy in the "Scooby Doo" movies; Roger Cross who played Curtis Manning in "24"; Dax Shepard who will be starring with Luke Wilson in the upcoming movie "Idiocracy"; Paul Johansson from "One Tree Hill"; and Victoria Pratt of "Mutant X" fame and the upcoming series "Day Break."
Also joining the celebrity group will be DJ DJ AM and Bodog.com music artist Bishop Brigante.
Poker Pros David Williams, Josh Arieh, and Evelyn Ng will lead the team of celebrities as well as the group of online players who won seats to the WSOP Main Event on the site.
