Bodog.com changes launch date of 'BodogFight'
By Sarah Polson
Bodog.com announced today that its new Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) reality series, 'BodogFight,' will begin airing Sept. 19, a week later than its original Sept. 12 scheduled release. They delayed the airing to allow for additional footage for the show.
"When BodogFight's inaugural episode launches, viewers are going to witness a new standard in mainstream digital entertainment," says Calvin Ayre, founder and CEO of Bodog.com. "The additional footage capturing the essence of Mixed Martial Arts as a sport and lifestyle will add a new degree of rawness never seen before."
The show, which will air on the Men's Outdoor and Recreation channel on DISH Network and online at BodogFight.com, will document the search for the toughest, most ruthless MMA athletes the United States has to offer and have them compete for a spot on a team that will take on the members of the Russian Red Devils Team.
Episodes will feature training, lifestyle, fighter interviews, elimination battles and an inside look into the training regimen of the elite Russian team.
