Bodog.com boasts six WSOP packages a week
The anticipation for the event of the year is building. And Bodog.com is making sure their players get a taste of it, offering even more chances to qualify for the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Starting today, three "Main Event Semi-Final" tournaments will being running each and every week, with two $12,000 WSOP prize packages including buy-in, travel and accommodation guaranteed per tournament.
They'll run Sundays at 2:20 p.m., Mondays at 9:15 p.m. and Thursdays at 9:15 p.m. (all times EDT), with a buy-in of $270.
Players can also satellite their way to a seat for as little as $1.50, with an extra two $29 buy-in "Main Event Last Chance" tournaments being added to the schedule as well.
At least three seats to the semi-final will be at stake in each of those, with up to five possible depending on the number of entrants.
Players who want to use their Bodog Poker Points can also enter a twice-daily Main Event PTS Quarterfinal, with a buy-in of 1,000 points. A boosted $270 in tournament dollars will now be paid out for every 10 players in the event, and that T$270 will buy you directly into a Main Event semi-final.
The new schedule only runs through June 18, when all WSOP qualifying at Bodog.com ends.
