Bodog Poker offers its biggest guarantee

Bodog Poker is planning to top its personal record by hosting its largest guaranteed prize pool tournament ever in August.

The poker site plans to host a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament Sunday, Aug. 10, at 4 p.m. ET. The tournament will have a $250+$20 buy-in, but qualifiers have already begun for as little as $1.

"We're thrilled to give online poker players the chance to win big at Bodog with $250,000 in guaranteed prize money, the largest ever in Bodog history," says Morris Mohawk Gaming Group CEO Alwyn Morris.

"With daily qualifiers running for as low as $1, there's no reason for anyone to miss out on this chance to make Bodog history and some serious cash."

Normally the biggest guaranteed tournament Bodog hosts is the $100,000 weekly guaranteed tournament, which will be replaced by the $250,000 guarantee for that one day in August.

"The one-time, history-making tournament on Aug. 10 is a great opportunity for online poker players to take advantage of Bodog's new and improved resizable poker client, which goes live on July 17," said Bodog Poker.

Bodog Poker's latest version will feature full-screen mode, resizable tables, embedded chat, game details and on-demand player tools.
