Bodog Poker gets new look
By Erik Sylven
Bodog Poker has released a new look for its online poker room.
The new Bodog Poker design is the result of player feedback and user testing over the past two years. Some of the key new features include:
- The layout of players is now circular, providing easy-to-follow action from player to player with each hand.
- Cards are better positioned and sized to provide effortless context for the hand state.
- The player who is "on action" is highlighted with a softly diffused spotlight, and a countdown timer indicates how much time he or she has to act.
- Multiple felt color options are provided along with brightness control, allowing for user personalization.
- Players' action is clearly displayed.
- Denomination of chip stacks and bet values is clearly marked.
- A centralized dashboard lays out your controls for easy in-hand action.
According to Bodog Poker, this is the first installment of a series of new features that the poker site will introduce over the next several months.
As of yesterday, new Bodog Poker players will download the updated look. Existing players have the option to upgrade to the new software.
