Those packages, worth $12,000, include the buy-in for the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event plus $2,000 for travel expenses.
Players who go to the World Series courtesy of Bodog Poker will join the poker site's team of professional players at the felt. They are Evelyn Ng, David Williams, Jean-Robert Bellande and Justin Bonomo.
"We're expecting a big showing from Team Bodog at this year's WSOP," says Morris Mohawk Gaming Group CEO Alwyn Morris. "We'd love to see one of our online qualifiers walk away with the top prize, a new gold bracelet and a stack of cash."
One Team Bodog member has already just missed out on winning a gold bracelet this year. Bonomo came in second in the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em event, just behind Erick Lindgren. Williams also made that final table, coming in seventh place.
That is Williams' first cash in the 2008 series, and he had four in 2007. Bonomo had three cashes in 2007, and the Mixed Hold'em event was his first cash this year and his first cash as a Bodog Poker player.
