After sifting through hundreds of applications and hours of extensive review and deliberation, Bodog has a new female pro.

Amanda Musumeci, otherwise known as "Manderbutt" in online poker circles, has been a regular MTT player at Bodog for years, having earned more than $200,000 on the site.

"When you respond to an opportunity like this, no matter how confident you are in yourself and your abilities, there's always a little nagging doubt in the back of your mind," she said. "So when Bodog showed a genuine interest in me, I was ecstatic.

"I've spent most of my online poker career playing at, and getting the chance to play as a pro for my favorite room was the opportunity of a lifetime. It also really showed me that, unlike a lot of other rooms, Bodog supports and invests in their players. I couldn't ask for a better home and look forward to kicking some butt in Bodog's name."

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Musumeci moved to Kutztown at 19 to attend Kutztown University, where she majored in Speech/Mass Communications, minored in Political Science and Public Relations and discovered poker.

The game quickly became a means to pay for school until she met poker pro Anna Wroblewski at the Aussie Millions, moved in with her in Las Vegas with and began playing poker professionally.

When a friend sent her a link to a posting on's Facebook Fan Page saying they were looking for a female poker pro, she jumped at the opportunity.

She was literally one of hundreds who applied for the job in what was essentially an open casting call to all female poker players.

Musumeci, who will now play under the screen name "BodogMander", joins fellow female pro Evelyn Ng as a member of the team.
