Video of the Week: The Longest Bluff in Poker History
A brave bluff is one of the most beautiful things poker has to offer. One single good move is often enough to win a pot against a mediocre hand. In our video of the week we’ll see what happens when two stubborn players clash in a hand that doesn’t have any showdown value -- and where the regular laws of poker don’t seem to count anymore.

Video of the Week: A Little Bit of ThanosBoSs in Each of Us
An old rule of thumb for poker players is “keep your hands off casino games." Pit games have been the downfall of many a poker pro over the years and will continue to be until the sun itself burns out. While 2016 WSOP Main Event champion Qui Nguyen prefers the Baccarat tables, others can’t resist taking a spin on the dangerous Blackjack tables. In our video of the week one of these players sits down with $19,000 in front of him and you can guess what happens.

Poker Video of the Week: Will Kassouf’s KK Cooler Déjà Vu
You might polarize your hand; Will Kassouf polarizes the poker community. The English attorney drove a number of players mad with his "speech play" during the 2016 WSOP Main Event and became something akin to a pop star on ESPN. But not only his game was spectacular. He also went out with a bang. And then history repeated itself.

Over the first four editions of the PokerListings Battle of Malta, from 2012-2015, our focus has been on "making" history. Poker Video of the Week: Full House Ain't Nuthin' Ta F Wit'
As amateur poker players we sometimes feel like successful, seasoned pros never make a mistake. The truth, though, is that even they misplay a hand from time to time. Chris Klodnicki has been playing professionally for a decade and accumulated over $8.6 million in tournament winnings. He's even finished 12th (!) in the Main Event before. Despite all that success his Day 6 performance at the WSOP 2016 Main Event, so to speak, flopped.

Beyond Poker Face: A Look at the Most Elaborate Costumes in Poker
Poker is all about deception so donning a costume is not exactly a giant stretch for high-stakes poker pros. Tournaments, which can be quite slow, are also a good venue for putting costumes on display. Over the years there’s been hundreds of poker pros who have donned elaborate costumes at the WSOP, EPT or WPT. Sometimes it’s just for fun, other times it’s because of a lost bet and other times it’s merely a player repping some product or company.

Don’t Bust! The WSOP Main Event Final Table Bubble Blog
You can’t beat the drama that surrounds the WSOP Main Event final table bubble. It’s arguably the single biggest bubble in poker with nine lucky players becoming millionaires, instant-fame and numerous sponsorship opportunities while one unlucky player becomes a minor footnote in poker. The stands are generally packed with friends, family and fans and — for one day at least — people are really, really interested in watching people play poker.

Video of the Week: Doyle Stupefies Ivey w/ Kangaroo Read
Poker players who predominately play live will always tell you how important reads are at the table -- no matter how many hands you’ve played online or how well you play in general. Pros like Jason Mercier, Luca Pagano, Theo Jorgensen, Lex Veldhuis, Chris Moneymaker and Daniel Negreanu have all explained to us in depth how they use live reads to make big decisions. In this clip, however, Doyle Brunson takes his read to a completely new level. He doesn't read Phil Ivey’s hand; he reads his mind.

Michael Ruane: 2016 WSOP November Nine Bio | World Series of Poker
Before tonight when Michael Ruane joined the elite halls of 2016 WSOP November Nine, his biggest claim to poker fame was getting arrested flying back from the PCA in the Bahamas. That's ancient history now as Ruane cemented his spot in poker history in a much more positive way by making the final nine of the World Series of Poker Main Event.

Kenny Hallaert: 2016 WSOP November Nine Bio | World Series of Poker
With Belgium's burgeoning poker scene and a stellar track record at the WSOP for Belgian players, despite its tiny population, it's no surprise to have another Belgian member of the November Nine this year. After the exhilarating journey of 72-year-old Pierre Neuville last year, this year it's longtime poker industry pro Kenny Hallaert's turn.

Vojtech Ruzicka: 2016 WSOP November Nine Bio | World Series of Poker
There hasn't been a Czech player in the November Nine since Martin Staszko's runner-up run in 2011 but that changed tonight when Vojtech Ruzicka battled his way into the 2016 Main Event final table. A six-year veteran of the live scene in Europe and the WSOP and a six-figure winner online for the past 5 years Ruzicka is also one of the most talented players at the table. He's got the showy results to prove it, too, with a $1m+ year in 2011 that included a second-place finish in the WCOOP Main Event for $710,000.

Qui Nguyen: 2016 WSOP November Nine Bio | World Series of Poker
With just $52,986 in career live earnings and only one WSOP cash - for less than the $10k buy-in to the Main Event - Las Vegas resident Qui Nguyen doesn't immediately stand out as a threat at the 2016 WSOP Main Event final table. Given that those cashes date back to 2003, though, he might have a bit more up his sleeve than expected.
