The picture did manage to get a little rosier as the first level moved forward. Latecomers included names like Chad Brown and his bride-to-be Ryan Young, 2007 WSOP POY Tom Schneider, and 1999 WSOP bracelet winner and 2005 WPT Five Diamond champ "Captain" Tom Franklin round out the big names left in the field.
