Women Take Over 2009 WSOP

The $1,000 Ladies Event is underway in the Amazon room and all the swearing, bad smells and grunting we're used to have been replaced with kind language, big smiles and various kinds of perfume.
This year's event drew 1,060 players, which is actually down by 130 players compared to last year when Svetlana Gromenkova outlasted all opposition to earn herself a bracelet.
There are plenty of big name players in the field with Maya Geller, Lacey Jones, Tiffany Michelle, Maria Ho, Erica Schoenberg and several others all gunning for first place.
