We are at the stage of the series where many online sites host outrageous parties with the aim being to out-do each other's plans for sheer exuberance.

Last night saw Ultimate Bet throw their hat into the ring, booking the whole of Studio 54 at the MGM casino.

We can't help but think they pulled it off too.

The night came complete with Ultimate Bet's figurehead, Phil Hellmuth, making an appearance, a raffle for an $8.5k poker package, acrobatic and scantily-clad ladies flying over the stage hoisted by billowing silk ropes and of course, the staple of any good poker party, a free bar till the end of the night.

The raffle was an interesting affair.

Once the lots were drawn, the winning ticket belonged to a multi-millionaire - which led one bearded drunk to yell out "This s*** is rigged! Just like Ultimate Bet!" - referencing some of the controversy that has surrounded the site in previous years.

This didn't stop people hitting up the free bar and having a great time grooving on the dance floor though and the revelling went on into the early hours of the morning.

With a host of top players and personalities, all the extravagant ingredients for a balla night were there and the other sites will have their work cut out to top Ultimate Bet's offering.

Give it your best shot guys!
