On only the fifth hand of the match, we got all in pre, my jacks vs. Nathan's queens.
It was fairly frustrating considering I had not had jacks, queens, kings, or aces in any of my first four matches. I overlooked a few things that happened in the hand and just kind of said "screw it, I have jacks."
I'm really looking forward to the $5k PLO today. I'm hoping to make a run at my second final table. I think it will be a fairly small field, 250 or less. Let's Do It! I played both the $2,500 PLO and the $1,500 Horse events on the same day that the $10k Heads-Up Day 2 was going on.
I busted the $2,500 PLO shortly after the second break after sitting out for two hours.
In the $1,500 Horse, I didn't show up to my table until 8:30 (tourney started at 5). I still had plenty of chips and did some work to accumulate a decent stack. I ended up busting with seven hands to go at the end of the night.
The past two days have been weird for me. I have played the $2k NL and the $1,500 NL and not made the dinner break of either one. The weird part is that there wasn't a 5 pm tourney that I wanted to play on either day.
So at 4 pm and 6 pm I had nothing else to do. I was able to actually hang out with my friends… Weird, I know! I had a pretty good time chilling with the crew.
