Random WSOP Observation #13: Chief Lotsadough!
Created By: Ed Sevillano Posted in: WSOP Blog, Tournament Trail
Native American headdresses were earned by warriors for committing acts of bravery. Only chiefs and tribal elders were permitted to wear these and even then mostly only for formal ceremonies.
Apparently this player earned his headdress by bravely ponying up $1,500 to play a poker tournament he had little-to-no chance of winning.
We're sure the players on either side of him were thrilled to see this guy walk up but probably not as thrilled as the people who were sitting on either side of him for the plane flight over.
Keep checking back to see what other ridiculousness is going on at the WSOP.
