At the dinner break of the WSOP's $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event, both PL.com pro bloggers Matt Stout and Jason Mercier are running like gods.

In fact, after getting it in with a flush draw and a gutshot against two different players with sets, Mercier hit both draws on the river and is now in the chip lead with over $78k.

Considering Mercier took down the FTOPS PLO event on Full Tilt Poker just a few weeks ago and made the final table of the PLO event at the WSOPE a little less than a year ago, this is quickly becoming his favorite game.

"It's because I'm so nasty at it," he joked.

Speaking of nasty, Mercier will have to play the last half of the day soaked in sauce after spilling most of his dinner all over his shirt.

Stout said he went for a low-variance dinner and is wearing none of it as a result, but he returns to the action with a healthy $40k stack.

He flopped an open ender with the nut flush draw in the third level tonight and ended up going runner-runner to snatch a $24k pot.

However, Stout's knowledge of the game might be lacking slightly. He hasn't played much PLO and admitted to flipping through Jeff Wang's book Pot Limit Omaha Poker: The Big Play Strategy throughout the day.

"I'm clueless when it comes to PLO," he said, but we're pretty sure he's lying.

UPDATE: Jason Mercier added to that chip lead throughout the night.

He crushed the bubble as they moved into the money and went to bed with 227,000 in chips - nearly 90k more than anyone else.

He really is nasty!
